Welcome back to the channel ya kookz!

This is the first episode of Vankookz Kitchen and we are making a simple easy paleo green shakshuka with bacon. This is one of our favorite dishes to whip up in the van. It's easy only requires a few ingredients and is a unique and delicious recipe that will have you coming back for more.

Here is what you will need.
a few pieces of bacon to grease the pan or if your vegetarian 2 Tablespoons of coconut oil
2 Large Leeks thinly sliced
1 bunch of kale or any green of your choice we used arugula
2 Large Cloves of Garlic
1 teaspoon + caraway seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
3/4 cup full-fat unsweetened coconut milk (half of a 13.5 ounce can) You can do as much as you want with the coconut milk here it's up to how many calories you want to intake.
4 large pasture-raised eggs

Over the past few years, I (Kevin) got to spend a lot of time with the infamous cocaine smuggler, George Jung. Also known as Boston George and most famously known for being portrayed by Johnny Deep in the Movie "Blow." I was able to work closely with George when I worked on the documentary about George's life, his trials and tribulations as a drug smuggler, his life in and out of the prison system, and his time spent with infamous drug czars, Pablo Escobar and Carlos Lehder. In this episode, we will dive into my time spent with George and the weird times we had together while I shot this project. RIP Boston George you will be missed. How to Stay Warm in Winter Van Life | WInter Van Life Camping

Welcome back to the channel ya kookz!
Ever wondered how to stay warm in a van in the winter? We just took an epic trip in a Kuku Campervan (www.kukucampervan.com) on an Indy Pass snowboard tour through Idaho and Montana in the middle of winter. (www. indyskipass.com) These were some of the coldest temperatures we experienced in the van ever! A few nights it got down to below 0!

In this video, we want to give you a realistic idea of how cold it really gets in a van if you want to take it to the extreme cold. We have lived in our vans for over 5 years and have learned a lot of hack along the way so hope this information is helpful. 2021 Mercedes Sprinter Van | Is a 4x4 Sprinter Van Worth it

Welcome back to the channel ya kookz!

Boy did we put this 2021 Mercedes Sprinter Van Built by Kuku Campers (www.kukucampers.com) to the test! We drove this van over 2,800 miles through a blizzard, ice storm, and high winds through Idaho. We really pushed the limits of this van and wanted to pass on what we learned about this awesome rig to you kookz.

Is a 4x4 Sprinter worth the money? Well, they are badass I know that much. But do you really need it? We would say no. While we would love to have one, there just aren't many opportunities to 4x4 your nice luxury Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van. While the 4x4 would be handy when you get really stuck in the snow, ice, or sand. We've seen a fair share of 4x4 sprinters stuck in the sand and snow. They are heavy vehicles and just really aren't made to 4x4. Plus who really wants to take their home over snow insanely bumpy terrain? Not us...

We've owned a 2wd Sprinter for over 4 years now and have taken it all the way to the bottom of Baja California and on some of the most obscure roads in America and have only been stuck a handful of times. The Sprinter vans are the most capable cargo vans on the market they have better ground clearance than ford and ram so they handle off-road conditions pretty darn good with a 2wd. All you really need to make your 2wd van handle off-road conditions better are some nice all-terrain tires and the right air pressure.

This van handled so well in over a foot of snow in Brundage Idaho, we only got stuck once when we parked on some black ice and it froze in the evening. Honestly, we would have been stuck in a 4x4 it was basically an ice pond. This Sprinter drives like a dream and handles so well you don't notice that you are driving an almost 8,000-pound van at 80 mph on the highway. It has tons of modern features that make the drive super comfortable and really make this van more of a luxury vehicle than a cargo van.

So if you are considering a 4x4 van and paying an additional $10k for the upgrade, I recommend you watch this video. We've been living in vans for over 6 years and this is the best van I've ever driven. I wish I could keep it.

Also, Kuku's vans are winter-ready with ski racks, chains, and Propex van heaters on board to keep us nice and toasty in the frigid Idaho nighttime temps.

We had a blast at these Indy resorts. This video starts with an amazing powder day at Brundage Mountain Resort in McCall, Idaho. We enjoyed almost 2 feet of powder at this awesome mountain and barely waited in any lift lines on a Saturday!

Next, we headed to Silver Mountain in Kellogg, Idaho. We had amazing bluebird conditions and nice soft fresh snow. SIlver Mountian had an amazing park and once again we enjoyed a relaxing day of snowboarding with no lift-lines and unlimited stoke!

Also in this video, we show you how we stay warm while out in the Idaho Mountains in the middle of winter. We drive our 2021 Sprinter van through some intense conditions and share some vanlife tips and hacks along the way.

Winter is the low-season for van rentals with most of the prices being very budget-friendly!! We wanted to show you kookz that want to try van life how to get into it!

If you don't have a van, now is the time to rent one! Grab one in the winter to get a better deal. We grabbed one from Kuku Camper's in Denver, Colorado, where our winter wonderland Indy Ski pass trip began.
